In Denmark – more precisely Copenhagen – we are freezing these days, and it makes me dream about travelling to warmer countries. Luckily I have already made my Summer holiday plans, and this year I am going to Sicily!

1. To be honest, I am usually a bit afraid of wearing colours. But when on holiday, I loosen up in my very black and white style. These earrings are a great example of that. ZARA  //  2. A large towel is a must-have for a vacation, and it is just a plus if the towel is pretty too. Yes, I am an Instagrammer. TOTEME  //  3. This Bikini from H&M will look perfect with a gorgeous golden tan and turquoise water. H&M, Available soon.  //  4. A good bronzer is a must on a holiday and Bronze Goddess never fails! Bronze Goddess, ESTÉE LAUDER  //  5. The drapings and cuts in this dress are just picture perfect! This dress will be perfect to wear when I’m strolling down the streets in Siracusa. RODEBJER  //  6. On holidays I almost only wear dresses, that’s my argument for spending too much money on one dress. It is an investment. NO.21  //  7. This season yellow is my favourite colour, and these sandals have to be on my feet in Sicily. ISABEL MARANT  //  8. Newer go out in the sun unprotected! This luxurious sun protection for the face with SPF30 protects and nurtures the skin. Soleil de La Mer, The Reparative Face Sun Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30
LA MER
//  9. My all-time favourite shape for sunglasses is cat-eye, and this one is so retro – I love it! It will fit me well besides the pool at 31 degrees. MANGO  //  10. No holiday without silk from Toteme. I already have a pair of shorts from Toteme, but one is just not enough! TOTEME

I will visit Taormina and Siracusa. Two beautiful and old cities, with a lot of ancient ruins, and fantastic restaurants. I can’t wait to smell the ocean every morning when I wake up…and of course to get a little tan.

July seems like years away, but to make the travel a little more real, I’m already looking for the perfect summer outfits, to make sure I look just as stunning as Sicily itself.
