Jasmine Walker studied Fashion & Textile Management at university and started at ASOS soon after graduating as International PR Assistant.Walker had undertaken many placements and internships at fashion PR agencies in London and New York so to get a position within the ASOS PR team was a dream come true! After working at ASOS for over five years, she is now the Senior International PR Officer and works with the internal PR team, international PR managers, and agencies to create relevant and meaningful coverage for the ASOS brand and product, all over the world!

A typical day at ASOS?
I like to keep on top of what’s going on in the fashion world, so I scroll through international blogs, Instagram feeds and magazines and keep an eye out for anyone wearing ASOS.
I liaise with our international PR agencies to secure ASOS brand features in magazines and arrange press interviews with members of the Design team.
I work on lots of international events throughout the season. This can range from a Christmas influencer event in Copenhagen to an editor dinner in Madrid to showcase our new season collection.

What’s your tip for a perfect Christmas outfit?
An expandable waistline! ASOS has a great lounge-wear range which I’ll be wearing from now right into the new year.

 

What’s on top of your wish list this year?
The Celine ‘Bangers & Mash’ scarf – glamorous, cozy and quintessentially British!

What’s your everyday uniform?
Jeans and trainers both make a regular appearance in my everyday outfit! I love suits and co-ordinating sets too as they’re so easy but instantly create a pulled-together look.

Three words that describe your style?
Minimal, casual, classic.
