After the Gucci’s infant dragons had stolen all the fashion hearts in Milan, Tod’s snatched back the focus with the cutest puppies carried by supermodels…how can you even compete with that? It is the Chinese Year of The Dog, after all, the theme was ongoing with little dog-accessories on some of the bags.

Tod’s called their show, ‘A story of everyday elegance’. The AW18 season was a strong statement of versatility, and the collection was a parade of craftsmanship and quality.

Tod’s has considerably expanded its DNA from fine leather shoes and bags, focussing more on luxe outerwear and slouched leather trousers too. With the traditional trench, shearling biker jackets, cool puffers as well as longer leather coats. It was a distinctly tan colour palette mixed with autumnal hues, black and white and with a hint of mint.

Leather, suede, and shearling dominated the collection, and it had a sporty vibe to it. The collection was wearable and the perfect work and leisurewear.
